Health & Wellbeing
Health & Wellbeing has been a key element of our work. We run several programmes with the support of the HSE Health & Wellbeing & Dublin City Council Sports & Wellbeing Partnership.
Community Food & Health Supports
The Community Food & Health Support Programme enables us to integrate into existing FRC services in the F2 Centre and to develop trusting relationships with staff and service users. This relationship-based approach has been central to the success of the programme.
Core Focus of the Work
Building trusting relationships with community members
Raising awareness of food, nutrition and lifestyle choices in informal settings
Targeting individuals and families who traditionally do not engage in adult or health-focused programmes
Using experiential, hands-on learning to build confidence and skills
Responding flexibly to needs emerging from the community
Support the running of the weekly Community Breakfasts and Community Lunches, including the introduction of healthier options
Develop Food Poverty Supports for Families/Individuals experiencing food poverty

Fatima Community Sports Hub
Established in 2021 with a clear and inclusive mission; to inspire people of all ages and abilities to become more active, more often.
We are dedicated to bringing together the neighbouring communities of Bluebell, Inchicore, and Dolphin’s Barn by promoting the shared use of resources, facilities, and local expertise. Through collaboration, we aim to ensure that everyone, within these communities and beyond, has equal opportunities to begin and sustain a healthy, active lifestyle.
Our hub supports this journey by offering a wide range of exercise programmes, nutritional guidance, social activities, and initiatives that promote positive mental health. From early years to later life, we are committed to creating an environment where wellbeing is accessible, enjoyable, and part of everyday life for everyone.
